Revitalising Corporate Culture in the World of Hybrid Work

Abstract

Research Purpose: With the rise of hybrid and remote work models, maintaining a strong company culture is more crucial than ever. How can organisations ensure their values and standards remain vibrant and impactful when physical presence is no longer a constant? This research explores strategies for building and sustaining a robust corporate culture in the evolving landscape of hybrid work.

Methodology: This research examines the challenges posed by hybrid and remote work to traditional models of corporate culture. It analyses the impact of reduced physical interaction on employee alignment and connectedness, drawing upon relevant studies and real-world examples.

Findings: The study reveals that hybrid and remote work settings can negatively impact employee alignment and connectedness due to the lack of physical interaction inherent in conventional work environments.

Conclusion: Building a strong and sustainable corporate culture within hybrid and remote work models requires innovative approaches that foster a sense of community and shared purpose, even in the absence of consistent physical presence.

Recommendations: The research suggests strategies for companies to adapt their cultural initiatives to the hybrid world, including leveraging technology for enhanced communication and collaboration, promoting virtual team-building activities, and establishing clear guidelines for remote work engagement.
